Care taking of the Stone´s
Stone´s are used a lot in jewellery. If stones are used the goldsmith has to take several things in mind as early as in the design stage. For example a soft or brittle stone can better not be used in a ring.
Although when we design a piece of jewellery and all these things are thought of, one have to remember that everything on earth is subjected to wear, so also your jewellery and the stones (even a diamond can break if it´s hit at the wrong place, this occurs not ferry frequently but it can happen!). If one uses there jewellery during “hard” working the jewellery and also the stones will tarnish and lose there lustre.
Another fact is that the settings will were out and that one can lose the stone. Here for we advise to bring you jewellery once a year so we can check your pieces. When we do this as service and will at the same time professionally clean your jewellery again.
